Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc.
A national association representing over 23,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms in 80 chapters across the United States. The Maine Chapter is located in Augusta.

Trimmer Education Foundation
L & B Electrical Contractors, Inc. joined the Foundation as a Charter member in December 1999.

Named after John P. Trimmer, he was the first executive president of ABC and was very active in promoting the merit shop philosophy. He made it a lifelong commitment to promote the merit shop and provide educational opportunities to those in the construction industries.

Today this foundation provides:

• Scholarships of $1,000 - $2,000 to students enrolled in a two or four-year construction program.
• Present an annual Excellence in Teaching Award to a college or university.
• Provide ABC chapters with grants to assist with education and workforce development programs.

Free Enterprise Alliance
The Free Enterprise Alliance is an ABC national project governed by members from each region of the nation. The Free Enterprise Alliance is dedicated to education and advocacy of issues of ABC Members, and Member company employees and the general public.

The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber is an independent not-for-profit membership organization, which has been supporting the local community and businesses since 1888. Since 1995, Chamber membership has grown 93% to over 1206 members. The Chamber motto is, "We succeed when our members succeed!"

The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce covers the areas of Auburn, Durham, Greene, Leeds, Lewiston, Lisbon, Livermore, Livermore Falls, Mechanic Falls, Minot, New Gloucester, Poland, Sabattus, Turner, and Wales.
